About the Job

We are seeking an experienced and highly capable electrical engineer to oversee the entire process of design, construction supervision, and business liaison for distributed photovoltaic projects in Hong Kong. If you possess solid industry experience, excellent language skills, and a deep understanding of the entire photovoltaic project process, we welcome you to join our team and help advance the development of renewable energy in Hong Kong.

Job Responsibilities

• Familiar with the system design of distributed photovoltaic projects in Hong Kong. Based on customer requirements, site conditions, and other factors, design or supervise third-party photovoltaic system solutions that are technologically advanced, compliant with Hong Kong regulations, and economically sound, ensuring feasibility and optimality.
• Facilitate all project procedures, including but not limited to government approvals, filings, and power company access approvals. Be familiar with relevant Hong Kong policies, regulations, and procedures to ensure smooth project progress.
• Participate in the entire project development and construction process, coordinate resources from all parties, resolve issues that arise during implementation, and ensure that the project is completed on schedule, to the required quality, and on schedule.
• After the power plant transitions to operations, you will be responsible for operational aspects of the plant, including monitoring and analyzing operational data, developing maintenance plans, and ensuring stable and efficient operation of the plant, thereby improving its power generation efficiency and economic benefits.
• Familiarity with the development of distributed photovoltaic projects in Hong Kong, including project research, evaluation, site selection, and identifying potential project opportunities.

About You

• Bachelor's degree or above, with a preferred major in new energy, electrical engineering, civil engineering, or other related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in the Hong Kong photovoltaic industry, including experience in design, construction, and management of distributed photovoltaic projects in Hong Kong.
• Proficient in the design of distributed photovoltaic projects, and the ability to design reasonable solutions based on different project circumstances.
• Familiarity with all pre-project development procedures and processes, and understanding of relevant Hong Kong policies, regulations, and industry standards.
• Familiarity with the entire process of photovoltaic project development, construction, and power plant operations, with the ability to effectively manage the progress and quality of each project phase.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. Must be proactive, responsible, and able to withstand moderate work pressure.
• Fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English. Must have the ability to use these three languages for business communication, document drafting, and meeting interactions.
